During segregation in America, there were countless all-Black communities and towns all across America. They had their own mayors, city councils, police chiefs, hospitals, schools, businesses, parks, etc. The community of Idlewild, also known as Black Eden, was one such town. Below is our Info Session on Black Eden and the two short documentaries that are shown in the presentation.
