Pharaoh's Row – Nu Kemet Retreat Construction Update

The vision continues to become reality!
We are excited to announce that construction of the first home in Pharaoh's Row is entering its final stages. This week, our team is installing the stunning floor-to-ceiling front windows that will flood the home with natural light and showcase the beauty of the surrounding landscape. We are also installing the front entry door, completing the final round of sheetrock finishing in preparation for the last coat of paint, and installing the exterior cladding on the front and rear elevations of the home, bringing the building's unique architectural character to life.
With each passing day, this historic project moves closer to completion. What began as an idea shared among visionaries is now a tangible symbol of what collective economics, determination, and community support can accomplish.
This first home represents more than lumber, concrete, and steel. It represents a renewed commitment to ownership, self-determination, and community development. It stands as proof that ordinary people can come together to build extraordinary things.
As we prepare for the Grand Opening of the first home in Pharaoh's Row, we want to thank every member, donor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this milestone possible. Together, we are laying the foundation for a 112-acre model community designed to reflect the very best of African American culture, values, and achievement.
The future is being built one step at a time—and that future is taking shape right before our eyes.
