OUR FIRST WATER WELL IS OFFICIALLY FLOWING AT NU KEMET!

We are thrilled to announce a major milestone in the development of the Nu Kemet Retreat & Residential Community—our first fully functioning water well is now complete!

Drilled 320 feet deep into a natural underground aquifer, this well delivers fresh, clean mineral water straight from the earth. This is more than just a water source—it’s the foundation of a self-sustaining, independent Black community built on quality, longevity, and collective and private ownership.

Our new system features brand-new plumbing infrastructure and privately maintained wells, ensuring that Nu Kemet residents and guests will enjoy pure, reliable water for generations to come. This achievement also marks a critical step in our long-term plan to build a thriving, environmentally sound community rooted in wellness, culture, and self-determination.
