Membership to The Black Achievement Fund is open to anyone 16 years and older who believes in its mission, vision and Guiding Principles regardless of "race," gender, religion, sexual orientation, or political affiliation.
BECOME A MEMBER !
Membership is only $9 a month (free for individuals 15 and under!) However, we encourage members to give as much a month as possible so that we can accomplish as much as possible!
Membership is FREE until we reach our 10 Million Member/$1 Billion campaign goal! However, we require all new members to confirm their future commitment by making a one-time good faith contribution of $9, all of which goes towards funding the campaign. There is no contract, members can cancel their membership at any time.
All members are required to perform a minimum of 5 hours of community service a year on behalf of the Black community. Members who are physically or mentally incapable of completing community service will be exempt. This amounts to 50 million hours a year of free labor to build and strengthen Black communities. The BAF will coordinate community service activities that will be both fun and rewarding.
All new members receive an official BAF membership card with your lifetime BAF membership number, which shows the number in which you joined the BAF! The first 25,000 Founding Members receive a special edition membership card.
The Black Achievement Fund is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 corporation. All membership contributions are 100% tax deductible!
What do I get for my membership?
Membership fees fund the entire Black Achievement Fund Program. BAF members collectively own all of the Black Achievement Fund's assets and are entitled to all of the Programs and Services that the BAF offers.
When do programs and services begin?
BAF programs and services begin the moment we reach or membership goal and members make their first monthly membership contribution. This will generate $90 million to begin funding the BAF Programs. With 10 million members contributing $9 a month, the BAF will generate over $1 billion each year from monthly membership contributions to sustain our programs and services in perpetuity.
Can I give more than $9 a month?
Of course! Membership is at least $9 a month but we encourage members to contribute as much as you can. The more capital we have the more we can achieve. You can change your membership amount at any time as long as it is at least $9.
"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek."
– President Barack Obama

During or immediately after the campaign, the BAF will be establishing its own Credit Union. All members will be eligible for a free banking account and debit card regardless of credit store or past credit history.
